چکیده

Surface downward longwave radiation (SDLR) is a major component of the energy budget. Although studies have reported spatiotemporal variations SDLR in China, coverage situ measurements used always limited. In this study, gradient boosting regression tree (GBRT) was developed to reconstruct based on air temperature (Ta), relative humidity (RH), and shortwave (DSR). Ground collected at Baseline Radiation Network (BSRN) Arid Semi-arid Region Collaborative Observation Project (ASRCOP) were build evaluate GBRT model. The evaluation results showed that daily estimates are correlated well with situ, an overall root mean square errors (RMSE) 16.5 Wm?2 correlation coefficient (R) value 0.91 for validation data set. Comparison existing products accuracy trends method reasonable. To obtain long-term analysis over densely distributed reconstructed DSR ground measured Ta RH 756 Chinese Meteorological Administration (CMA) stations as input estimate China during 1958–2015. estimated SDLRs selected 563 increased average rate 1.3 per decade from 1958 2015. trend positively water vapor pressure, whereas negatively DSR.

Periodicity of Downward Longwave Radiation at an Equatorial Location

A good understanding of the diverse mechanisms in the atmosphere is required in modelling the climate. In this study, the diurnal and seasonal patterns of all-sky downward longwave radiation (DLR) at Ilorin (8o 32l N, 4o 34l E), Nigeria were investigated alongside relative humidity (RH) and temperature. The average diurnal pattern of DLR gives an arc that begins by increasing gradually with som...

Sensitivity of downward longwave surface radiation to moisture and cloud changes in a highelevation region

[1] Several studies have suggested enhanced rates of warming in high-elevation regions since the latter half of the twentieth century. One of the potential reasons why enhanced rates of warming might occur at high elevations is the nonlinear relationship between downward longwave radiation (DLR) and specific humidity (q). Using ground-based observations at a high-elevation site in southwestern ...

Variability of Net Longwave Radiation Over the Eastern North Pacific Ocean

The net longwave radiation at the sea surface (LW]'•) was measured over the eastern North Pacific Ocean for 22 days during the fall of 1982. These measurements were made from the R/P FLIP as part of the Optical Dynamics Experiment. The mean LW]'• emitted from the sea surface was 52.0 W/m 2 with a variance of 802.6 W2/m 4. The largest fraction of the variance was observed tobe in the diurnal fre...

The measurement of solar ultraviolet radiation in Kermanshah city over a one-year period from 2015 to 2016

ABSTRACT Background: Ultraviolet radiation is present in sunlight. If ultraviolet radiation exceeds the limit, it can cause detrimental effects on human health such as skin cancer and cataract. Materials and Methods: In this descriptive cross-sectional study, the level of solar ultraviolet radiation type A (UVA) were measured using UV LOG HAND HELD in Kermanshah city. The intensity of ultravio...
